Marc Belsky is a 25+ year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, with direct involvement in over $35 billion worth of transactions across the country.
Marc began his career as a commercial mortgage broker at Meridian Capital Group while still earning his degree from Brooklyn College. After graduating, he spent 15 years on the principal side at a private equity real estate fund, a development company, and a family office—gaining hands-on experience in acquiring, repositioning, and developing properties nationwide.
Most recently, prior to founding his own firm, Marc served as Managing Director and Co-Founder of Eastern Equity Advisors, an affiliate of Eastern Union Funding, a national debt and equity brokerage that regularly facilitated over $6 billion in annual deal volume.
Ilya Gamer is a Managing Director at Marc Belsky Ltd., leading the firm’s business development and distribution strategies across multifamily housing and diverse asset classes nationwide. With a background in real estate investment banking, fintech, and private equity, Ilya has placed over $600 million in equity capital across real estate investments totaling more than $6 billion in aggregate value over the last 6 years.
Having executed private equity real estate investments across multiple sectors, including multifamily, logistics, retail, office, and hospitality properties in 17 states, Ilya brings deep transactional expertise to his role. His ability to communicate compelling investment narratives has been instrumental in building lasting relationships with top-tier real estate sponsors and investors.
Prior to joining Marc Belsky Ltd., Ilya served as Managing Director and played a foundational role in establishing and expanding CrowdStreet’s New York City’s Capital Markets Office, a FINRA-registered investment banking platform that syndicated over $4.5 billion in equity. He is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry events, has guest lectured at universities, serves on the Advisory Board of the University of Miami’s Master of Real Estate Development + Urbanism program, and holds Series 79 and Series 63 licenses. Outside of work, Ilya is actively involved in his community and cherishes time spent with his family.
Mark Rosenzweig is a Senior Vice President at Marc Belsky Ltd., based in the firm’s New York City office. Since joining in 2022, he has been involved in closing over $250 million in equity placements, supporting transactions totaling more than $1 billion.
At Marc Belsky Ltd., Mark plays a pivotal role in originating new sponsor relationships and evaluating prospective transactions to ensure alignment with the investment mandates of the firm’s broad network of private equity partners. His responsibilities include analyzing financial models, preparing detailed investment memoranda, and managing transactions through to closing. This involves navigating sophisticated joint venture structures, reviewing complex deal terms, and collaborating with clients and their advisors.
Prior to joining Marc Belsky Ltd., Mark served as Director of Acquisitions at Crown Capital Ventures, a private real estate syndicator. There, he oversaw the acquisition, disposition, and asset management of multifamily properties across key markets in the Southeast, Texas, and the Midwest. His role included market research, sourcing deals, developing investment models and offering memorandums, and conducting detailed due diligence at both the property and submarket levels. He also played a key role in tracking asset performance and refining business plans in response to changing conditions. Prior to Crown Capital, Mark worked as a debt and equity broker at Eastern Union Funding, a New York City–based mortgage brokerage, where he specialized in capital placement for real estate clients.
Mark is a FINRA-registered representative holding multiple securities licenses. With a track record of over $2 billion in closed real estate transactions—as a debt broker, equity broker, and direct sponsor—he brings deep expertise in real estate finance and deal structuring. This experience allows him to deliver strategic insights and tailored solutions on behalf of his clients.
With more than 25 years of experience in corporate consulting and strategic advisory, Baruch brings deep expertise and a sharp analytical lens to his role as Vice President at Marc Belsky Ltd. He plays a key role in shaping the firm’s future growth by originating new sponsor relationships and evaluating prospective transactions that align with the investment mandates of the firm’s extensive network of private equity funds.
Throughout his career, Baruch has advised Fortune 500 companies on optimizing operational performance, streamlining capital expenditures, and executing complex growth strategies. Today, he leverages that same strategic insight in the real estate equity space—guiding clients through intricate investment structures and uncovering high-value opportunities that deliver meaningful returns.
Known for his precision, integrity, and results-driven approach, Baruch is instrumental in expanding the firm’s reach and ensuring every deal reflects the highest standards of fit.
Giovanny is a Senior Analyst responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, underwriting across asset classes, and preparing detailed marketing materials for institutional capital partners. His work spans the full lifecycle of a deal, from initial screening through financial analysis and execution support.
Prior to this role, Giovanny worked in structured finance in Santa Monica, CA, where he focused on arranging debt and equity financing for a wide range of commercial real estate asset types. His experience across the capital stack provides him with a comprehensive understanding of real estate investment strategy and financial structuring.
Eytan Goldstein is a real estate finance professional with a background spanning both the equity and debt sides of the capital stack. Over the past several years, he has been directly involved in sourcing joint venture equity from institutional and family office partners, as well as originating senior financing for multifamily and senior housing properties across the United States.
Prior to joining Marc Belsky Ltd., Eytan spent four years at Greystone, where he worked closely with property owners, developers, and capital markets executives to structure tailored financing solutions. Known for his relationship-driven approach and commitment to execution, Eytan specializes in aligning sponsors with strategic capital partners and guiding transactions from origination through closing.
Sophia Kral brings five years of experience in commercial real estate to her role as Transaction Coordinator at Marc Belsky Ltd. She supports the full transaction process, manages client relationships, and helps keep deals moving smoothly.
She began her career in 2021 as a retail leasing broker, then transitioned to Executive Assistant to the EVP of her firm. In that role, she was able to advance her knowledge of the business with a focus on project management, client relations, and operations.
Sophia is an NYU graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and exploring the city’s restaurant scene.
